We are looking for a Telecommunication Systems Engineer for one of our clients in the energy sector, based in Nanterre, France.

Telecommunication Systems Engineer - Missions and Responsibilities

• Telecommunication systems architecture and block diagrams
• Drafting of Telecommunication Specifications
• Follow-up of Telecommunication Material Take-Off (MTO): cables, power distribution, etc.
• Interface management with existing telecommunication systems
• Preparation of Telecommunication layouts (CCTV, PAGA, etc.)
• Technical bid comparisons
• Vendor correspondence
• Review and commenting of vendor drawings and documentation
• Technical review of supplier offers
• Participation in the validation of telecommunication systems installation aspects (e.g. cabinet quantities, layouts)

Profile and Skills Required - Telecommunication Systems Engineer

• Strong knowledge of telecommunication systems:
  PAGA, Hotline, Telephone Systems, CCTV Systems, UHF TETRA Radio Systems, VHF Marine Radio Systems, Fiber Optic Networks, LAN Systems, Ship-to-Shore Link Systems, ACS, Wireless Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems
• Good understanding of telecommunication systems in the Oil & Gas sector, particularly onshore LNG projects
• Proven know-how in onshore telecommunication systems
• Knowledge of installation and validation aspects of telecommunication systems
• Familiarity with applicable international standards and codes: ISA, IEC, ATEX
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio) and AutoCAD
• Reporting to the Lead Engineer
