This Position reports to:
Local Service Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work of medium to high complexity as per work instructions and ABB guidelines. Each day, you will deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers. You will also showcase your expertise by working with customer to identify opportunities in the installed base, to improve system performance and operational performance.

The work model for the role is: onsite/hybrid/remote.

This role is contributing to AUEN Saudi Arabia.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Contributing to customer satisfaction by planning and executing service work as per customer order and expectations.
  • Ensuring customer retention by delivering superior customer experience and effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations.
  • Taking actions to identify new service business opportunities for ABB, in close cooperation with customer and other ABB teams.
  • Coaching technicians and engineers and supervising complex site activities.


Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
  • 10+ years of ABB SG300/400 ESD system experience.
  • SG ESD system migration to HI800 experience.
  • Execute medium to low service projects in collaboration with engineering team.
  • Including expansions and modernization projects from design to site installation and commissioning.
  • Lead group of engineers to deliver projects.
  • collaborate with the engineering manager and / or project manager to deliver the projects.
  • Working with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer's operations and eliminate pain points.
  • Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products.
  • Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities.
  • Troubleshooting equipment/process failures, requesting proactive corrective actions, and making recommendations to avoid such issues in the future.
