This Position reports to:
Regional Procurement Leader (IM&S),IA Eu

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development.

This role is contributing to the AU Indirect Material and Services Procurement Team based at Bangalore, India:

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Support PR to PO process, track goods receipt, confirm delivery and conditions with suppliers
• Manage the day-to-day cooperation with a portfolio of international approved suppliers fulfilling the needs of both internal and external customer. You will implement Procurement Strategy by cooperation with Sourcing team
• Track goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensure invoice processing
• Aligns supplier orders with customer requirements (based on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/project requirements) in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability and price.
• Conducts all Procurement activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures.

Qualifications for the role

• Proficient in English (B2) required

• Proactive way of working / flexibility/ team work spirit. Experience in Purchasing or Finance would be a plus.

• Hands- on experience working with SAP/Ariba would be a plus

• Experience working in shared services environment would be a plus. Advanced Excel skills would be a plus.

• Very good written and verbal communication skills. Flexibility to work in European time standard.
