Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to business objectives through the development and deployment of innovative and effective marketing communications activities in line with global and local communication strategies, standards, and guidelines. Each day, you will be responsible for developing the marketing communication strategy and maintaining the positive image of the company and its brand and value proposition in the minds of the customers. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring relevant marketing communication strategy and plans align with global marketing, corporate, and country communications strategies and guidelines.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Adapting and developing promotional activities using events, fairs, online communication campaigns, print media, and other communications vehicles to promote products, systems, and services across the lifecycle.
• Stimulating lead generation through advertising, sponsorship, and other promotional activities.
• Ensuring sound communication across multiple and appropriate trade media in line with the ABB communications framework to extend the company's visibility.
• Ensure regional alignment with global and local business strategies, adapting initiatives to local market needs.
• Lead and execute marketing and communications activities in MEA Region, including campaigns, events, media, and internal communications.
• Coordinate product launches, campaigns, and demand generation activities, ensuring consistency and impact.
• Support business growth by tailoring global content and messaging for regional customers and stakeholder audiences.
• Provide guidance on brand management, digital presence, PR, and internal communications within the region.
• Monitor and report on marketing performance, KPIs, and market insights at both country and cluster levels.

Qualifications for the role

• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing multicultural, multi-country stakeholders.
• Hands-on execution ability combined with a strategic mindset.
• Proven expertise, 7 + years in technical B2B/industrial marketing and communications.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, capable of working with both local and global leaders.
• Experience in brand management, demand generation, digital channels, and media relations.
• Analytical skills to measure performance and optimize activities.
• Fluent English and Arabic; other regional languages an advantage.
