Function Description

A Rigger on a cable lay vessel is responsible for safely handling, securing, and operating lifting and deck equipment during cable loading, deployment, and offshore installation activities. The role includes preparing rigging gear, supporting deck operations, and ensuring all tasks follow established safety procedures and offshore standards.

Requirements

Candidates must hold:

• a full GWO certification package,
• a valid BOSIET/FOET,
• an accredited Rigging certificate suitable for offshore lifting operations,
• UK Frontier Work Permit.
