As Vice-President, Transportation, you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing strategies that position our organization as the premier transportation solutions provider.
Your role
Reporting to the Senior Vice-President and Market Lead, Transportation, you will provide strategic leadership for the Transportation market, ensuring sustainable growth and operational excellence. This role requires a visionary leader with strong business development acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to craft and execute a strategic plan that drives market expansion and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Leadership & Growth
- Define and implement a comprehensive strategic plan to grow the Transportation business in Québec.
- Identify emerging market opportunities and develop strategies to increase market share and profitability.
- Lead the development and achievement of annual operating plans, including full P&L accountability.
• Business Development
- Drive new business initiatives, leveraging deep industry relationships to secure major transportation projects.
- Oversee bid strategies, partnership development, and proposal execution for large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Maintain a highly visible presence with clients and stakeholders to strengthen relationships and brand positioning.
• Operational Excellence
- Provide inspirational leadership, coaching, and mentoring to senior managers and teams in a matrix organizational structure.
- Ensure effective risk management and operational efficiency while meeting growth objectives.
- Collaborate across business units to deliver integrated solutions and maximize cross selling opportunities and client satisfaction.
About you
• 15+ years of experience in transportation infrastructure, with proven success in strategic planning and business development.
• Minimum 5 years in senior executive leadership roles within the Québec transportation sector.
• Strong understanding of P3, EPC/EPCM project delivery models.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence at all organizational levels.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic growth plans.
• Professional Engineer designation and a degree in engineering or related discipline preferred.
