Role Synopsis

bp is accelerating its digital transformation, and the DevOps Engineer is key to enabling this shift through deep expertise in software delivery, Agile/DevOps practices, and Site Reliability Engineering. You will work across business areas, continuously learn, and coach others while fostering a culture of improvement and collaboration. Your work includes building and operating strategic platforms, managing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, implementing monitoring, and enabling modern developer tooling to support secure, scalable, high‑quality digital delivery.

What You'll Do

• Partner with vendors, guide platform selection, and contribute thought leadership to shape technology roadmaps.

• Ensure operational integrity by adhering to architectural, security, and compliance standards while mentoring and connecting teams across the organization.

• Automate infrastructure and deployments, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, optimize cloud environments, and implement monitoring and alerting for system reliability.

• Align DevOps tools and practices with business needs to enable fast, consistent, high‑quality delivery.

Desirable Criteria

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

• Hands‑on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).

• Proven experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools

• Solid understanding of cloud security controls

• Demonstrated ability to design, implement, maintain, and document technical solutions collaboratively.
