POSITION: User Experience Architect

WORKSITE: 640 W California Avenue, Sunnyvale, California 94086

JOB DUTIES:

Responsible for leading UX design efforts at a center level and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative strategies to ensure that our digital products and services meet user needs and drive business value. Lead the crafting of innovative user experiences that meet user needs and drive business ROI. Owning the client experience across the domain (and the products and workflows they need. Leading crafting a holistic experience across all the products and workflows in that domain. Focusing across a number of applications to understand the entire experience. Understanding key areas of friction, gaps in user value, and areas of opportunities to improve. Collaborate closely with other designers, developers, and 3D artists to create cutting-edge user experiences that push the boundaries of technology. Coordinating with the UX and team leads across the products and workflows within that domain to drive direction. Plan and execute generative research to identify user needs, preferences, and pain points; synthesize research into insights, personas, journey maps and other outputs as appropriate. Develop storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design concepts to stakeholders and test with users. Plan and execute evaluative research to get feedback iteratively and rapidly on ideas and designs at various stages in design and development. Measure and analyze the impact of UX design changes on business ROI and adjust strategies as necessary. Continuously challenge the effectiveness of design solutions, recommending changes, as appropriate. Stay up to date with emerging trends and best practices in UX design, customer experience, and business ROI.

Telecommuting/Remote work allowed 3 days per week.

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Master's degree in UX Design, Design and Technology or related.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

3 years working as User Experience Lead, Studio Lead, or related. 3 years' experience with UX design principles, processes, and methodologies; experience with user-centered design user research methodologies including quantitative and qualitative techniques for both evaluative and generative research; experience conducting user research, developing personals and creating user journeys.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 15% travel to Houston, Texas for workshops, presentations, trainings and meetings. 5% travel to other SLB locations in the United States for trainings and meetings.

Please note that the listed compensation and benefits apply only to successful candidates hired onto a local United States payroll. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $190819 - $213600.
