Junior/Senior Cash Accountant

As a Cash Accountant in our Global Business Services (GBS) team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring financial accuracy and supporting strategic decision-making across our French and Belgian entities.

We Want You

As a Junior:

• Process daily bank reconciliations and ensure accurate cash accounting
• Support month-end close activities and maintain foreign exchange rates
• Assist in resolving reconciliation discrepancies and propose corrections
• Review and confirm correct posting of external and intercompany loans
• Execute intercompany netting operations and payment processing
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure data accuracy

As a Senior:

• Serve as a technical expert in cash accounting, bank reconciliation, and treasury interfaces
• Lead month-end close activities for cash accounting operations
• Review and approve complex reconciliations and manual journal entries
• Resolve sophisticated reconciliation discrepancies and coordinate with cross-functional teams
• Support daily cash flow forecasting and long-term strategic planning
• Mentor junior team members and drive process improvements

Who Are You

Junior:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (or final year student for junior role)
• 0-2 years of experience for junior role; 1-4 years for regular role
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and cash accounting concepts
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (formulas, pivot tables, vlookups)
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Proactive communicator with a willingness to learn and adapt

Senior:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Professional accounting certification (e.g., CECCAR, DEC, ACCA, CPA)
• 5-8 years of experience in cash accounting or treasury operations
• Expert knowledge of SAP Cash Management module and KTP Treasury Management
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with reconciliation tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
