Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Site Turnover & Completions Coordinator as part of our Engineering team within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be based at Habshan Site in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The Role

The Turnover & Completions Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the system completion, mechanical completion, and turnover process from EPCM through construction and commissioning, ensuring all systems are completed, verified, and handed over to ADNOC Gas in full compliance with project requirements, ADNOC standards, and HSE regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Turnover & Completions Management

• Develop and implement the Turnover and Systems Completion Strategy in line with EPCM scope and ADNOC Gas requirements.
• Establish and maintain the System / Sub-System Breakdown Structure (SBS) and turnover boundaries.
• Coordinate preparation and approval of Mechanical Completion (MC), Pre-Commissioning, and Commissioning dossiers.
• Ensure timely issuance and closure of Punch Lists (A, B, and C).
• Manage the handover process from Construction to Commissioning and from Commissioning to ADNOC Gas Operations.

Planning & Coordination

• Interface with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, QA/QC, and HSE teams to ensure turnover readiness.
• Align turnover activities with the project schedule, milestones, and EPCM execution plan.
• Track system completion progress and report status to project management and ADNOC Gas.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure compliance with turnover documentation and readiness.

Documentation & Systems

• Ensure all turnover documentation complies with ADNOC Gas standards, project specifications, and contractual requirements.
• Manage completion management systems (e.g., WinPCS, PIMS, ProCoSys, Completion Tools or equivalent).
• Verify accuracy and completeness of test records, certificates, redlines, and as-built documentation.
• Support preparation of Final Acceptance and Handover dossiers.

Quality, HSE & Compliance

• Ensure turnover activities comply with ADNOC Gas HSE policies, quality requirements, and permit systems.
• Participate in audits, walkdowns, and system inspections with ADNOC Gas representatives.
• Support resolution of NCRs, punch items, and commissioning constraints affecting turnover.

Expected:

• Minimum 10-15 years overall experience in Oil & Gas EPCM projects.
• Minimum 5-7 years in Turnover, Systems Completion, or Commissioning Coordination roles.
• Proven experience on ADNOC, ADNOC Gas, or Middle East onshore EPCM projects is highly preferred.
• Strong exposure to gas processing facilities, utilities, and offsites.
• Systems Completion & Mechanical Completion methodologies
• EPCM project execution and construction sequencing
• Commissioning and start-up readiness
• Completion management software and databases
• ADNOC Codes, Standards, and Specifications
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• High attention to detail and documentation accuracy
