Does the position operate in a specific market (regulated, competitive, etc.)?

- Total transforms to TotalEnergies as a board of Energy company.

- The ambition is end of year 2030, we complete the roadmap to build B2C up to contribute 50% to TotalEnergies volume, by value for quality reason to believe and competitive product range.

- In both B2B and B2C, TEMV's ambition to grow lubricants as a core business, in addition to it is new product portfolios and new business to fit into the GLOBAL Zero Carbon Roadmap.

*Key Activities:

A. Technical

1. Online Technical Support: Provides product recommendations to enquiries from ASM/KAM, DSR/DLEs and customers.

2. Product developments: Carry out TotalEnergies and competitors trial test, testimonials with current products, new products

3.Technical support:

- Lubrication survey to implement TotalEnergies Lubricants, Lubrication Audits to identify improvements to induce savings maintenance cost through promoting specialties ranges

- Resolves technical problems regarding product or equipment performance in order to protect the company against unfounded litigation

- Consults and plans with ASM/KAM on implementation of Effective Technical Services for nominated TotalEnergies accounts, identifies and implements profit improvement opportunities with customers.

- Works with frontline sales colleagues to develop automotive customers and identifies customer needs through investigation analysis, communicates proactively with technical staff in target accounts to promote early adoption of TotalEnergies lubricants and programs.

- Carry out joint and solo visits to new and existing key customers providing technical proposals/assistance ( lub-chart, technical service package...) to generate sales opportunities and secures product upgrade opportunities.

- Providing on field training of product application knowledge to ASM/KAMDSRs/DLEs and reviews ASM/KAMDSRs/DLEs customer interaction regularly to ensure quality of offering.

4. Management of technical standards and materials:

- Establishment, translation and revision of technical standards materials (Technical data sheet, raw material specification...) and provide needed technical assistance on important commercial projects.

- Documents results of technical programs/recommendations to quantify savings and/or cost avoidance for Effective Technical Services customers and/or provide success stories

5. Others: Fulfill other tasks and/or assignments requested by the line managers whom the employee directly/indirectly reports to, and/or tasks requested by the Board of Management.

B. HSSE Tasks:

- Participate in fire drills and be familiar with evacuation routes and assembly points.

- Ensure proper housekeeping by keeping walkways and emergency exits clear of obstructions.

- Report and document any workplace hazards, near-misses, or incidents to the appropriate personnel or HSSE coordinator.

- Attend basic first aid training if requested by the Company.

- Safely store and use electrical equipment and promptly report any faulty or damaged devices.

- Stay informed about emergency contacts and procedures for medical or safety incidents within the office.

Candidate Profile

What is the required qualification level for the position?

- University graduate in Mechanical or Engineering (Automotive, Mechanical, or Chemical fields preferred).

- Minimum 3 years of relevant field experience in lubricant applications, technical service, or maintenance of automotive equipment. Strong understanding of equipment operations, lubrication systems, and technical programs.

What are the technical skills required?

- In-depth knowledge of automotive lubricants (engine oil, gear oil, ATF, coolant, brake fluid).

- Ability to interpret OEM specifications (API, ACEA, ILSAC, JASO).

- Familiar with lubricant testing methods and standards (ASTM, ISO).

- Skilled in troubleshooting engine and gearbox lubrication issues. Proficient in technical presentations, product demonstrations, and field trials with customers or distributors.

- Experience with technical documentation, failure analysis, and oil sampling diagnostics.

- Knowledge of maintenance planning systems and equipment reliability improvement.

What are the soft skills required?

- Strong communication and presentation skills (for internal training and customer seminars).

- Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.

- Customer-oriented attitude with ability to translate technical issues into practical solutions.

- Collaboration with sales and marketing teams.

- Coaching ability to support distributors.

- Adaptability and readiness to travel frequently to customer sites.

Which specific knowledges are required for the position?

- Deep understanding of automotive engine technology, lubrication principles, and additive chemistry basics.

- Knowledge of market applications: passenger car, commercial vehicles, fleets, workshops.

- Familiarity with competitor products, OEM recommendations, and local market regulations.

- Understanding of B2B/B2C technical service programs (e.g., workshop audits, oil recommendation tools, training modules).

What language skills are required? Fluency in both Vietnamese and English

- Able to prepare technical reports, conduct bilingual presentations, and communicate with regional or global teams.

What is the required level of experience for the position?

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in automotive lubricant application, technical service, or equipment maintenance.

- Prior experience in multinational lubricant companies or automotive OEM/aftermarket preferred.

- Proven track record of solving field problems, conducting product trials, and delivering customer technical support.
