BIM Modeller (Architecture)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update accurate discipline-specific 3D BIM models using approved BIM software in accordance with project requirements.
• Produce detailed and coordinated models of buildings, infrastructure, and systems at the required LOD/LOIN as defined in the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
• Ensure all modelling activities comply with project BIM standards, naming conventions, templates, and classification systems.
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, BIM coordinators, and other stakeholders to ensure model consistency and coordination.
• Perform clash detection and issue resolution using coordination tools and support design coordination meetings with clear technical inputs.
• Update models based on design changes, review comments, RFIs, and coordination outcomes within agreed timelines.
• Utilize models to support design validation, constructability reviews, and spatial coordination during design and pre-construction stages.
• Extract accurate quantities, schedules, and model-based data to support cost estimation, BOQs, and reporting.
• Prepare model-based views, sheets, and visual outputs for internal reviews, client presentations, and coordination purposes.
• Upload, manage, and maintain models within the Common Data Environment (CDE) (ACC / BIM 360), following agreed workflows and approval statuses.
• Conduct self-checks and QA/QC to ensure model accuracy, completeness, and compliance before submission.
• Support the BIM Coordinator in maintaining federated models, resolving coordination issues, and meeting project milestones.
