We are currently seeking a Process Specialist Department Manager to join our team based in Tarragona, Spain.

About the job:

Provides technological support and advice for project execution.

• Contributes to the technological image of the company: liaises with counterparts in & outside of the company, BLs, T&I, clients and licensors, publishes papers.

• Orientates and provides support to R&D activities in coordination with T&I

• Checks and approves contract articles relevant to guarantees, liabilities and test run procedures.

• Leads the development of a process knowledge database as far as specific issues related to technology/specialty: ensures feedbacks and lessons learned notes are collected and treated, liaises with counterparts in other centers.

Department Manager

• Manages a team within one technology or specialty (performance monitoring, Process/Specialist Engineers selection, development, motivation and mentoring & etc.)

• Ensures the proper assignment of Process Managers/Engineers to R&D, proposals, projects and operations and the development of suitable process resources and skills related to his/her technology/specialty

• Reports of the whole team activities to the Process & Technology Management, projects and/or operations Management, including budget follow-up.

• Approves the Process execution and quality plan for the projects.

• Guarantees that the operating, HSE and quality control procedures and measurements, as well as project specifications are followed.

• Prepares and contributes to negotiation of process parts of proposals including commitment on process guaranties

• Approves man-hours budget on projects and proposals.

Technology Line Manager

• Manages a Technology: reporting of the whole team activities to the Process & Technology Management or Technology Department Manager and possibly projects and/or operations Management, possibly budget estimation and follow-up.

• Leads the development of his/her technology/line.

• May ensure the development of suitable process resources and skills related to his/her technology: selects and develops Process Engineers and Managers by providing appraisal of activities, training and coaching.

• May allocate resources to projects.

• May Prepares and contributes to negotiation of process parts of proposals.

Requirements:
  • University chemical engineering degree
  • Specific knowledge and experience of one product field or one specialty
  • Typically extensive experience within Process Design or Technology or Specialty
  • Significant experience of team management as Process Manager
  • Strong Knowledge of Technip Energies Processes and Practices Fluent in English and Spanish (minimum B2). Fluent in French will be a plus.
