Job Description: Substation Planner III Location: Garner, United States Start Date: 10 February 2026 Pay Rate: $54 Per Hour Job Description: As a Substation Planner III, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and coordinating the construction of electrical substations. You will work closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of substation projects. Key Responsibilities: Develop substation layout and design drawings Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project timelines are met Perform site visits and inspections to assess project requirements Prepare cost estimates and budgets for substation projects Review and approve substation construction plans Provide technical support and guidance to junior planners Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in substation planning and design Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software Strong understanding of electrical systems and substation components Excellent communication and project management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
