Job Description:

The Projects & Communications Coordinator position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting both the Strategic Project Portfolio and the Communications & Change function within Castrol ANZ. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of strategic initiatives and effective communication across the business, contributing to Castrol's transformation and growth agenda.

You'll work closely with senior leaders and project teams, assisting with project coordination, reporting, and communications activities. This is an ideal role for someone eager to learn, grow, and make a tangible impact in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and coordination support for the Strategic Project Portfolio, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, tracking actions, and maintaining project documentation.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate project progress, portfolio health, and key insights to stakeholders.
  • Support the execution of internal communications and change initiatives, including drafting communications, updating digital platforms, and coordinating engagement activities.
  • Help gather and analyse feedback from project teams and stakeholders to inform continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to project delivery and governance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the adoption of digital tools (e.g., Salesforce, Marketing Cloud).
  • Contribute to day-to-day activities that support the broader Customer Operations and Transformation agenda.

About You

  • Recent graduate or experience in an administrative, communications, or project support role (internships and volunteer experience welcome).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from others.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365; familiarity with digital communication platforms (e.g., Salesforce, EDM tools) is a plus.
  • Passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and supporting business transformation.
