Job Description

We are seeking experienced Project Managers with extensive background in offshore oil & gas support services to manage and lead multi-discipline projects in Angola's upstream sector. The role involves planning, execution, coordination, and delivery of maintenance and technical service contracts on offshore facilities, working closely with major international operators and EPCM partners.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution

• Lead planning, resourcing and execution of offshore service projects in areas including blasting, industrial and protective painting, scaffolding, insulation, access solutions, installation and mechanical support.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with contract scope, schedule, safety, quality and cost targets.
• Provide technical direction and oversight on specialised activities such as rope access, rigging, lifting, and surface treatment operations.

Offshore Project Oversight

• Manage project implementation on FPSOs and offshore platforms, coordinating multiple disciplines across marine, structural and topside scopes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements for offshore work.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Serve as primary point of contact for clients such as international oil & gas operators, EPCM contractors and relevant authorities.
• Coordinate closely with operations, HSE, planning, procurement and commercial teams to support seamless project execution.

Safety & Quality Assurance

• Enforce strict adherence to Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) standards across all project phases.
• Champion incident-free operations and continuous improvement in safety and work quality.

Resource & Team Management

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams comprising field engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
• Coach, mentor and develop local and expatriate personnel to strengthen project delivery capabilities.

Qualifications

Essential

• Proven experience as Project Manager in oil & gas maintenance and technical service delivery, especially on offshore facilities.
• Strong working knowledge of blasting, painting/coatings, scaffolding, installation works, and inspections.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex scopes including mechanical, access/rope work, NDT inspection, rigging & lifting support.
• Excellent planning, leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with international clients and teams under high operational standards.

Desirable

• Offshore safety certification (e.g., BOSIET/FOET) and project management qualification.
• Experience working with major oil & gas operators or large EPCM contractors on FPSOs, platforms, or marine assets.
• Portuguese language skills.
