Job Summary
Alaska Overview
The Alaska segment primarily explores for, produces, transports and markets crude oil, natural gas and NGLs. We are the largest crude oil producer in Alaska and have major ownership interests in the Prudhoe Bay, Kuparuk and Western North Slope asset areas. Additionally, we are one of Alaska's largest owners of state, federal and fee exploration leases, with approximately one million net undeveloped acres at year-end 2024. Alaska operations contributed 14 percent of our consolidated liquids production and two percent of our consolidated natural gas production.
Position Overview
The Inventory Analyst is responsible for ensuring proper controls are in place for all spare parts and materials used to maintain ConocoPhillips aircraft based in Alaska. These controls are to meet federal regulations, ConocoPhillips maintenance and procurement policies as well as industry standards for aircraft inventory and storage processes.

These controls are to meet federal regulations, ConocoPhillips maintenance and procurement policies as well as industry standards for aircraft inventory and storage processes.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Purchase required parts and materials as directed by the Director of Maintenance
- Maintain inventory levels sufficient to ensure high dispatch ability
- Ensure all parts and materials are stored in accordance with the manufacturers instructions and industry standards
- Maintain accurate inventory count
- Enforce applicable sections of ConocoPhillips' procurement policy
- Ensure proper parts certifications are maintained on record.
- Ensure proper application of cost codes are maintained
- Maintain systems that ensure proper control of shelf life and minimum / maximum inventory counts
Basic/Required:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Current/valid driver's license
- Currently hold, or be able to obtain upon hire, a state-issued Airport Secure Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge
- 1 or more years of experience in aviation purchasing and inventory control
- 1 or more years of experience sourcing and purchasing parts for aircraft
- 1 or more years of experience with standard accounting and inventory control processes as they apply to purchasing, inventory count, auditing, warranty and proper inventory storage practices
- Intermediate knowledge of computer-based inventory tracking systems and spreadsheets
- Intermediate knowledge of the code of federal regulations as they pertain to the proper documentation of airworthiness for aircraft parts and supplies
Preferred:
- 5 or more years of experience in aviation purchasing and inventory control
- 1 or more years of experience with proper procedures and controls of multiple inventories located in different locations
- Current/valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification
- Advanced level organization skills with high attention to detail
- Intermediate knowledge of TRAX inventory control system
- Builds effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions that are safe and ethical
- Delivers results through realistic planning to accomplish goals
- Builds positive relationships based on trust and seeks collaboration across organizational boundaries to achieve goals
