The Role
Wood is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls EIT in Calgary, AB to join our busy and growing Projects Canada team due to growth in our business within BioProducts and Oil and Gas!

RESPONSIBILITIES
Typical responsibilities:
- Interfacing with various engineering disciplines
- Project Execution may include but not limited to:
- Specifying, selecting and sizing field instrumentation (Pres/Temp/Flow/Level)
- Development of instrument datasheets
- Support Senior Engineers in assigned deliverables and tasks
- Preparing instrument lists (I/O, instrument index, load lists, etc)
- Support in the development of Material Take Offs (MTO's)
- Preparing Instrument Loop diagrams and termination wiring
- Support with the development of Material Requisitions, Technical Bid Evaluations and award recommendations for various instrumentation commodities

Expected:
- Recent Graduate with a Bachelors in Science degree in Engineering from an accredited University or College.
- Willingness to learn and grow within Instrumentation and Control systems
- Good understanding of CSA
- Ability to problem-solve
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Registration through APEGA as an EIT is an asset
