O&M Document ControllerLocation: Berlin or Sassnitz, GermanyWorking Pattern: Monday-Friday (5 days per week, minimum 3 days in office)Start Date: ASAPContract Duration: Until end of the year (with potential extension)Spencer Ogden are supporting a leading organisation within the offshore renewables sector in the search for an experienced O&M Document Controller to join their Offshore Operations & Maintenance Hub in Germany.This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring documentation integrity, compliance, and efficiency across offshore operational assets.The RoleAs part of the Asset Management function within the Offshore O&M Hub, you will be responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and integrity of operational documentation, while supporting internal teams and external contractors using electronic document management systems (EDMS).You will act as a central coordination point for document control processes, driving best practice and continuous improvement across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure effective and efficient management of documentation relating to operational offshore wind assets and O&M departmentsCreate, maintain, and update document control procedures, standards, and policiesImplement and manage document processes to organise and track documentationReview documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal and external requirementsCoordinate document review and approval workflows, ensuring timely distribution to relevant stakeholdersAct as the primary point of contact for electronic document management systems (EDMS)Coordinate with internal departments and third parties to ensure clear ownership, accountability, and visibility of documentationProvide training and support to EDMS users on document control processes and systemsAssist users with document retrieval and promote compliance with document control proceduresConduct audits to verify adherence to document control standards and implement corrective actions where requiredIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement, including process optimisation and automationKey RequirementsEssential:Proven experience as a Document ControllerStrong IT skills, including MS Office and project management/document management softwareFluent in EnglishFlexible approach to working hoursCultural awareness and ability to work across international teamsPositive, proactive attitude with high integrityKnowledge and/or experience within offshore and/or renewable energy sectorsDesirable:Additional language skills (Spanish, French, or German)Minimum 2 years' experience in document control and data managementKey InterfacesO&M Site Team membersOffshore O&M departmentsContractors and suppliersEDMS users (training and support)Asset Management leadershipAdditional InformationOffshore Working: NoSite Working: NoInternational Travel: Not expectedDrug & Alcohol Testing: Office-based / Hybrid roleNotice Period: 4 weeks preferred
