JOB PURPOSE:
Rigs up and rigs down cementing service equipment on work locations to include spotting of cement storage vessels, pre-mixing of spacer fluids, identifying additives to be mixed on-the-fly, rigging-up appropriate data monitoring equipment, planning emergency backup equipment and contingencies. To operate and maintain all the cementing equipment as per standards. Performs pre-job calculations related to: pipe capacities and volume/height math, plug landing pressures, absolute volumes (including total water requirements for job), hydrostatic and differential pressure, resulting forces, balanced plugs, bulk cement blending, calculations to include liquid additives and weighted spacers, and pressure to reverse. Completes documents, reports, and forms related to the cementing service performed. Trains and provides guidance to Operators in the proper performance of pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and associated paperwork and/or reports.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Job Specific Accountabilities
 Ensures field staff members arrive to job on time and correct equipment / materials are ready for job.
 Conducts pre-job operating procedures and safety meetings with field crew; reviews treatment program with customer prior to starting job.
 Instructs field crew of rig-in specifications; may assist in rigging operations as needed.
 Conducts/calls treatment program through life of job, provides instruction and direction on job operating procedures to all field crew members.
 Ensures treatment is running correctly and efficiently; monitors equipment and operations.
 Troubleshoots and resolves complex issues; provides guidance to lower level operators on how to resolve routine and non-routine operating issues.
 Builds customer relations and provides superior customer service and technical support to client.
 Monitors performance of all field crew members and advises Coordinator, Cementing and Manager, Cementing Operations on performance related issues; may conduct disciplinary action meetings with field personnel as needed.
 Mentors and provides training to field crew members at all levels; creates a team environment.
 Ensures all field personnel paperwork (fuel reports, log books, job tickets, post job treatment reports, Transport of Dangerous Goods reports, quarterly inspection reports, etc) is completely and accurately filled out, audited, and approved.
 Drives and operates heavy and complex Cementing Services trucks and equipment as needed.

Maintains truck and equipment to standards, and ensures all equipment, including personal protective
equipment, is in proper working order.
 Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water pre-and posttrip.
 Comply with all UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling and client Asset Integrity Management codes of
practice.

procedures and functional processes.

Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
 Support the institution of an HSE culture and ensure compliance with relevant HSE policies, procedures
& controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines across the Division in line with
international standards, best practices and Corporate Code of Practices and to ensure integrity and
safety of assets.
Housekeeping
 Maintain the work environment clean and tidy before, during operations, in line with established
standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping.
Reports
 Provide inputs to prepare Section progress reports for Company Management.
 Prepare various Key Performance Indicator (KPI) checklists for management.

COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal
 Daily contact with Coordinator, Cementing and with field staff.
External
 None.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification
 High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
 Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
 Computer awareness in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel programmes.
 Simple written and spoken English.
