Global Lead Buyer Wind Europe (m/f/d)

As part of the Global Lead Buyer Wind Turbine team, you will lead the tender process for the supply and services agreements of key equipment in our projects with a strong focus on the German market.

ACT NOW - These are your tasks:

• Implement the procurement strategy, framework agreements, and procurement processes for delivery projects and long‑term service agreements
• Lead supplier qualification and manage strategic supplier relationships across European wind markets
• Prepare selection proposals with Business and Project Development and ensure approval in line with governance requirements
• Support Operations in managing long‑term service agreements and maintaining strong relationships with wind turbine equipment suppliers
• Confirm qualified wind turbine vendors for inclusion in EPC tenders and contracts
• Conduct EPC bid comparisons and supplier risk analyses to support preferred bidder selection
• Lead RFQ (request for quotation) processes for wind turbine equipment-including coordination of experts, negotiations, and alignment with RFQ schedules-and contribute to market intelligence and supplier performance reporting for the Category Manager

Your profil - What you should bring along:

• A degree in business, economics, engineering or other relevant fields
• 5 to 10 years of relevant procurement experience, and/or in project management, business development, sales or contract management
• Experience in the renewable energy sector, especially in the onshore wind sector
• Process oriented with strong organization skills to manage multiple projects and prioritize demands
• Proven high negotiation capabilities and communication impact with the ability to work in an international environment
• Fluent English and German skills (C1 or higher)
• Willingness to occasionally travel within Europe
