Wind Solutions Technical Manager / Engineer Location: Istanbul, Turkey Industry: Wind Energy About the Role We are hiring a Wind Solutions Technical Manager / Engineer to support the development of technical solutions for international wind energy projects. This role focuses on delivering customer-centric, lifecycle wind turbine solutions, supporting overseas sales activities, and acting as a key technical interface between clients and internal teams. The position is ideal for a technically strong and commercially aware professional who can engage global clients, support bid processes, and drive competitive solution strategies in a fast-paced renewable energy environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver technical solution strategies for overseas wind energy projects, aligning customer requirements with product capabilities and business objectives Act as the primary technical interface for international clients, leading technical discussions, presentations, and solution workshops throughout the sales lifecycle Provide end-to-end lifecycle solution planning, covering pre-sales, proposal development, and execution support for utility-scale wind projects Support strategic projects through targeted technical and commercial exchanges, clearly articulating solution advantages and influencing customer decision-making Prepare and compile technical documentation for tenders and bidding processes, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and compliance Participate in contract review and negotiations to ensure technical alignment, risk control, and smooth project execution Coordinate cross-functionally with sales, engineering, product, and commercial teams to mobilize internal resources for key opportunities Optimize internal solution frameworks, processes, and team capabilities to enhance delivery efficiency and support core business targets Maintain strong client relationships and provide continuous technical support to drive customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships Contribute directly to regional sales performance and annual business objectives through effective technical solution support Preferred Background & Technical Skills Experience in wind energy, renewable energy, or power generation industries, particularly in technical solutions, proposal engineering, product development, or pre-sales engineering roles Strong technical knowledge of wind turbine technology, including turbine configuration, balance of plant (BOP), and project lifecycle from pre-sales to delivery Familiarity with utility-scale wind project development, tendering processes, and technical bid preparation for international markets Proficiency in developing technical proposals, solution presentations, and feasibility assessments aligned with customer and project requirements Understanding of grid connection, site conditions, logistics, and installation considerations for large-scale wind projects Ability to conduct technical-commercial evaluations and translate complex technical concepts into client-oriented solutions Experience working with cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, product, and project delivery functions Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to optimize solutions based on technical and commercial constraints Prior exposure to international projects and overseas client engagement in a fast-paced, solutions-driven environment Background in leading wind OEMs, EPC contractors, or renewable energy solution providers is highly advantageous What's on Offer Exposure to international renewable energy projects and global client engagement A dynamic and fast-growing environment within the new energy sector Opportunities to work on large-scale, technically complex wind energy solutions Clear career development pathway within a global solutions and technical organization This is a high-impact role suited for professionals who combine strong technical expertise with commercial awareness and a passion for advancing clean energy solutions globally.
