Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the deployment of the quality strategy for a local organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams with the aim to achieve and exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations. Each day, you will assist the organization in achieving the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solutions to problems. You will also showcase your expertise by collaborating with local functions that impact the quality results to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aim for world-class performance.

This role is contributing to the Automation Division - Marine & Ports in Genova.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Manage and maintain the Quality Management System, ensuring alignment between Group-level standards and local requirements
- Coordinate and support Quality System audits, with a specific focus on ISO 9001, including preparation, execution, follow-up actions, and interaction with internal and external auditors
- Ensure alignment with Division standards, methodologies, and tools (e.g. OnePoint platform, Lean Six Sigma / L6S training requirements)
- Identify, manage, and monitor continuous improvement initiatives, including the use and maintenance of the related tracking tool (OnTrack)
- Define, monitor, and analyze Quality KPIs (e.g. Balanced Scorecards), preparing accurate and timely monthly performance reports
- Collect and analyze customer feedback (e.g. NPS) and manage customer claims and complaints in line with internal processes (e.g. CCRP)
- Prepare, implement, and maintain Project Quality Plans, where required by projects, customers, or internal standards
- Manage calibration activities and related documentation for measurement and monitoring equipment
- Ensure proper handling and compliance of documentation required for access permits to ports, construction sites, and company facilities
- Manage the submission, update, and maintenance of required documentation on tender and bidding portals
- Manage customer portals, ensuring timely upload and periodic update of corporate, legal, and compliance documentation
- Create, maintain, and periodically review quality templates and standard documentation, supporting consistency and continuous improvement across the organization

Qualifications for the role:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field
- Basic knowledge of Quality Management Systems and interest in ISO 9001 and continuous improvement practices
- Ability to collect, analyze, and report data and KPIs using standard tools (e.g. Excel, dashboards, reporting templates)
- Customer-oriented mindset, with willingness to support customer feedback analysis and claim management processes
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in documentation management and compliance activities
- Strong willingness to learn, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop technical and quality-related skills
- You are at ease communicating in Italian and English
