Project details

Job Purpose

To coordinate and deliver learning and development activities across the ROO project site, ensuring training programs align with KBR's L&D framework and safety standards. The role serves as the local focal point for L&D in Iraq, supporting the implementation of competency plans, managing training logistics and records, and partnering with internal stakeholders and external training vendors to accelerate workforce capability and project performance on site.

Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinating training and development activities across multiple departments
  • Supporting implementation of training and competency plans in line with KBR L&D approach
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and external training vendors
  • Managing training schedules, logistics, and training records
  • Supporting training budget tracking and reporting
  • Acting as the local focal point for L&D activities in Iraq
  • Supporting internal training initiatives where required

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (preferred). Equivalent qualifications with relevant L&D experience will be considered.
  • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Learning & Development coordination, with exposure to on-site or Brownfield projects strongly preferred.

Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of Iraq-specific regulatory, HSSE, and safety training requirements.
  • Language: English proficiency required for documentation and coordination; Arabic proficiency preferred or access to interpreters.

Soft Skills
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work across different departments and priorities
  • Experience working with training vendors and managing training activities
  • Previous experience delivering internal training would be an advantage, but not mandatory
