Job Description

The Crane Operator will be responsible for safely operating various types of lifting equipment, including crawler cranes, mobile cranes, and forklifts, to assist in pipeline and material handling tasks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in crane operation and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate crawler cranes, mobile cranes, and forklifts for various tasks, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of crane equipment, including lifting gear, to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
• Inspect work areas and surroundings for potential hazards before operating cranes and forklifts.
• Read and interpret hand signals for crane rigging and ensure clear communication with the team.
• Guide crane riggers in the proper rigging of loads to ensure safe lifting and transportation.
• Coordinate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth project execution and adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain detailed records of equipment inspections, repairs, and daily operation logs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in operating crawler cranes, mobile cranes, and forklifts.
• Valid crane operator license.
• Strong knowledge of crane safety protocols, lifting gear, and load-handling procedures.
• Ability to read and understand hand signals and communicate effectively with riggers and crew.
• Experience with routine crane inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify hazards in the work area.
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow directions from supervisors.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
