Job Description
Supervise and organise the Material Operations & Warehousing facilities in order to ensure the effective coordination and duly authorised receiving, binning and issuing of materials. Jobs at this level will be responsible for Project/ Non-Project/ Stock materials

Qualifications
Secondary School Certificate with a discipline-specific technical qualification or equivalent with Minimum 06 years of related work experience in similar industries
OR
Diploma in a related discipline, or equivalent with Minimum 04 years of related work experience in similar industries
Supervise and organise the Material Operations & Warehousing facilities in order to ensure the effective coordination and duly authorised receiving, binning and issuing of materials. Jobs at this level will be responsible for Project/ Non-Project/ Stock materials
Responsibilities
- Supervise effective and efficient coordination of Material handling as per company policies and procedures, including HSE requirements
- Supervise and monitor performance of staff ensuring activities are complete in time and to the required standards
- Ensure safe keeping of material and are safely issued on time
- Prioritise and allocate workload ensuring effective use of manpower resources to achieve required outputs
- Supervise and coordinate material handling activities at various sub-contractor facilities and JV partners
- Coordinate emergency response activities and situations with the Material Operations Management to ensure emergencies are controlled to best standard practices
- Develop and implements optimum space utilisation plans to achieve cost effective and efficient operations
- Work along with the supervisors according to guidelines set by Material Operations Manager
- Provide operating guidelines to staff
- Co-ordinate activities with the suppliers and internal users
- Work in compliance with HSE regulations
- Use proper tools and equipment, any protective devices or clothing for handling materials
- Report any known workplace hazard or violations to the supervisor
- Not remove or make ineffective any protective device required by the employer or by regulations
- Supervisory potential
- Good communication skills
- Good level of spoken & written English
- Computer literate
- Good reporting and presentation skills
- Deep knowledge of materials & spare parts specific to hydrocarbon construction/ dredging/ marine sector
- Strong Safety awareness
