PERMIT TO WORK COORDINATOR - CONTRACT – TEESSIDE

To be considered for the role, candidates must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.

 

Our Client, a global leader in the engineering and construction of major projects for the energy and infrastructure sectors, both offshore and onshore, is currently looking for a Permit to Work Coordinator to work on a long term contract from March 2026.

 

EXPERIENCE

10-15 years as PTW Officer or similar within the Oil&Gas industry.

 

JOB SCOPE

Purpose of the position: As Permit to Work Coordinator in the HSE team, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring all PTW systems. You will be authorized and trained to coordinate the process of all Permits, to identify potential conflicting work tasks on a geographical and time basis. You will manage the PTW office and chair a daily PTW coordination meeting. You will join our Client’s carbon capture and storage project.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver HSE induction and training to ensure the effective implementation of Life Saving Rules in the operative sites
  • Conduct HSE inspections on internal and subcontractors’ activities
  • Monitor the effective implementation of the Permit to Work system on site
  • Keep updated HSE procedures and reports for each tasks
  • Spread HSE rules / standards / procedures / bulletins on site
  • Ensure that relevant safety risk assessments are complied with, and that Job Safety Analysis are prepared during the operations
  • Control compliance of the equipment utilized on site
  • Prepare and administer HSE KPIs for the operational activities
  • Assist in the investigation of accidents and analysis to identify trends and propose the necessary corrective measures
  • Monitor and maintain control measures in the use of hazardous materials
  • Supervise Environmental aspect on site, supporting key personnel

 

RATE:                          Please quote what limited company hourly rate you would be looking for.

 

DURATION:                   Start March 2026. 15 month contract.

 

WORK PATTERN:         Full time on site.
