Your role and responsibilities
You will have the opportunity to execute service work as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB quality and safety guidelines. Each day, you will deliver quality customer service planning and execute service work as per customer order and expectation. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring customer retention by effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations.

In this role, you'll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:
- Engineering development of protection relays and control systems.
- Maintenance and installations of switchgear.
- Programming/modifying project-specific applications efficiently according to customer requirements, ensuring proper functionality and interfacing to other systems.
- Carrying out acceptance testing (FAT and SAT) of Protection and Control systems in cooperation with other colleagues and customers, following the health and safety regulations.
- Creating and reviewing technical customer documentation for your projects.
- Participating in the commissioning of the application on customer sites.
Qualifications for the role
- You enjoy working with HMIs, PLCs and I/Os, preferably with ABB products, as well as on Windows-based operating systems.
- You have 5 years of experience in the same field.
- Possess an enhanced knowledge of control system topologies and communication protocols.
- You work well both independently and as a part of a team. You seek solutions actively, instead of focusing on Problems.
- Technical Diploma or degree in software, electrical, automation, computer engineering or related.
- You are at ease communicating in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
