Job Objectives:
Health & Safety responsibilities:
- Ensure that O&M activities are performed in strict compliance with applicable HSE laws and regulations, Customer HSE requirements including the defined HSE plan, the defined Emergency response plan, etc.
- Ensure strict compliance with Customer Golden Rules, Safety Culture programs
- Monitor the effective implementation of the Permit to Work system and LOTO. Perform regular checks and verifications
- Conduct regular site inspections
- Identify potential hazards related to electrical and mechanical systems, working at heights, heavy machinery and weather conditions.
- Participate in risk assessments and verify the implementation of all mitigations.
- Report any accidents, near-misses. Participate in the investigation.
- Record unsafe acts and conditions and take necessary actions.
- Recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Verify that all safety precautions such as lockout/tagout, PPE, fire protection are in place before executing the activities.
- Perform HSE inspections and checks for site equipment and tools and. Monitor third party certification
- Arrange necessary emergency response and rescue arrangements for O&M activities
- HSE Officers shall be presented on site during day and night operations
Environmental and Social (E&S) responsibilities:
- Monitor and report environmental impacts (water usage, waste management).
- Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations, Customer E&S requirements and commitments and sustainability goals.
QUALIFICATIONS

Expected:
- 3+ years HSE experience in industrial/energy/utility environments.
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in HSE, Environmental Science, or Engineering.
- Experience performing site inspections, reporting unsafe conditions, and supporting incident investigations.
- Ability to conduct HSE inspections, hazard identification, and PTW/LOTO verification.
Preferred:
- NEBOSH IGC (or equivalent) preferred
- Valid First Aid/CPR and Fire Safety training.
- Basic LOTO and PTW awareness training.
- Basic knowledge of waste management and environmental compliance requirements.
- Experience in solar plants or power utility sites
