Vestas Technology & Operations > Manufacturing > Manufacturing Blades PM

Our department ensures the successful delivery of projects that support Vestas' global Blades manufacturing footprint. We achieve this by efficiently planning and executing manufacturing projects in a high-quality, timely, and cost-effective manner.

We are a team of approximately 15 project managers headquartered in Denmark, operating across multiple geographical locations and diverse cultural backgrounds. Our primary focus is driving technology transfers and enabling seamless integration across global manufacturing sites.

Responsibilities
  • Manage projects of moderate complexity with full accountability for multiple workstreams
  • Deliver agreed project outcomes within defined tolerances for scope, quality, time, cost, risks, and benefits
  • Manage, plan, execute, and control projects in alignment with stakeholder expectations
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders and escalate issues when necessary to ensure timely resolution
  • Assume full responsibility for complex and strategic projects, from initiation through closure and confirmed handover to the business
  • Develop and lead robust project organizations, managing all aspects of the project across the value chain while applying best-practice project management processes
  • Ensure accurate estimation and thorough planning of resources across the organization to meet project deliverables and timelines


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in project management, business management, engineering, or a related discipline
  • Solid Project management experience
  • Solid communication and presentation skills in English, both verbal and written
  • We prefer professional certification such as IPMA C, PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent
  • Familiarity with the wind industry is not a requirement
