Vestas Manufacturing A/S > Global Production Engineering > Manufacturing Blades PM
Our department ensures the successful delivery of projects that support Vestas' global Blades manufacturing footprint. We achieve this by efficiently planning and executing manufacturing projects in a high-quality, timely, and cost-effective manner.
We are a team of approximately 15 project managers headquartered in Denmark, operating across multiple geographical locations and diverse cultural backgrounds. Our primary focus is driving technology transfers and enabling seamless integration across global manufacturing sites.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans for initiatives of moderate complexity, ensuring schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resource needs are clearly defined and continuously updated
- Support project leads and stakeholders by providing structured planning, monitoring, and reporting to help ensure delivery within agreed scope, quality, time, cost, and risk parameters
- Ensure stakeholders are informed of planning insights, status updates, risks, and deviations, escalating issues when timelines or resource constraints require attention
- Facilitate planning processes from project initiation through closure, ensuring key planning documents, baselines, and handover materials are prepared, maintained, and aligned with project governance standards
- Coordinate cross-functional input to ensure accurate estimation, resource forecasting, and alignment across the value chain
- Continuously optimize project structures and workflows, applying best-practice planning methodologies and tools to improve predictability and execution readiness
- Provide analytical support for scenario planning, capacity management, and risk/impact assessments to enable informed decision-making by project managers and leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in project management, business management, engineering, or a related discipline
- Solid experience in moderate to complex Project planning, SC planning, Production Planning or other relevant field (scheduling, and tracking, using best-practice tools, methods, and metrics)
- Solid communication and presentation skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with the wind industry is not a requirement
Competencies
- Value chain understanding, enabling accurate integration of cross-functional inputs into project plans
- Ability to support business case inputs through schedule, resource, and cost data
- Ability to collaborate across distances and cultures, ensuring consistent planning standards and data quality across teams
- Be able to influence and enable productive coordination with project managers, team leaders, and specialists
- Being able to have an overview of risk and dependency, supporting early identification and structured mitigation planning
