Nuclear Designer (M/F): What will your duties and responsibilities be?
As a Nuclear Designer (M/F), you will join the mechanical design department of an engineering firm composed of engineers and designers. You will play a key role: defining the most suitable technical solutions in terms of cost and ease of manufacture, after analyzing the specifications. Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Participate in design reviews alongside design engineers to define manufacturing methods and identify the most relevant technical solutions
- Produce 3D designs as well as general and detailed drawings, and draw up parts lists based on specifications
- Dimension parts and select the most suitable materials, components, or raw materials to ensure the feasibility of the project
- Write technical documentation (maintenance notes, operating instructions, etc.)
What profile and skills are required for this position of Nuclear Designer (M/F) ?
- You have a two-year degree in mechanical engineering or production engineering.
- You have at least five years' experience in a similar position, ideally in the special machinery, mechanical engineering, or metalworking sectors.
- You are proficient in SolidWorks and CATIA software.
- You are familiar with the physical properties of the materials or components used and have a basic understanding of solid mechanics.
- You have a professional level of French, both spoken and written
