This Position reports to:
Procurement Team Lead

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for local import/export operations. Each day, you will supervise performance of customs brokers. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring smooth execution of operational trade and customs activities within a local unit, including relevant documentation and compliance with regulations.

The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Systems division in Mexico (Inbound operations in US)

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Acting as point of contact for customs brokers and transport agents in case of clarification needs (e.g., regarding valuation or classification of products).
• Coordinating shipments scheduling and tracking.
• Auditing customs brokers regarding the correctness of customs entries, invoicing, and archiving.
• Managing the necessary documentation and online forms for the efficient, cost-effective, and lawful execution of all import/export activities.
• Maintaining and sharing with colleagues, as appropriate, personal knowledge of all relevant import/export laws and procedures, tariffs, duties, licenses, and restrictions.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelors Degree - International Trade, International Business, Logistics or similar
• 1 + years experience in International logistics and Customs activities
• Knowledge of Import and Export processes and customs legislation
• MS Office and Excel experience
• Advanced English required
• SAP experience preferred
