HEAD, INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT
Overview
Represents QatarEnergy (VI) interest on technical and infrastructure matters as potential Asset Operator and Investor projects in Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC), Mesaieed Industrial City (MIC), and Dukhan Concession Area (DCA) proceed through concept and FEED, ensuring they are planned and developed in accordance with the Industrial City's Master Plan and Polices.
The incumbent is also responsible, in co-ordination with the QatarEnergy Oil and Gas Ventures and Downstream Directorates, to analyze and evaluate the requirements of existing, future and potential end-users and to identify and develop the opportunities for synergies and the need for common and shared infrastructure facilities in the abovementioned locations.
Experience
• Minimum 12 years working experience in Oil and Gas Industry and major Infrastructure Projects. Extensive Experience as a Project Manager and/ or Engineering Manager on major multi discipline projects.
• Exposure to international experience and appreciation of cultural sensitivities.
• Strong working knowledge of engineering management practices, international engineering codes/ standards, organizational and analytical techniques.
• Excellent oral and written English combined with strong report writing, presentation skills.
• Strong leadership with influencing and motivational skills.
• Capable of working under tight deadlines drawing upon project management and time management skills.
Qualifications
B.Sc. Degree in an Engineering Discipline. Higher education such as M.Sc. or MBA is a plus.
