Job Description:
Reporting to the Wells Regeneration & Alliancing Senior Manager, the Wells Alliancing Lead is accountable as the product owner for the implementation of wells alliance, in support of safely accelerating production and reducing development costs. The role will lead coordination of the alliance setup and management activities with bp and alliance partner companies. The activity spans across well planning, drilling and completions operations on seven platform rigs, with future opportunity to expand to future developments.
This is an 18‑month fixed‑term position designed to support the Wells Alliancing Senior Manager in advancing the ACG Wells Alliance, shaping future alliance management, and exploring opportunities for expansion across additional AGT projects. The role has senior leadership approval and will be advertised both internally and externally.

Key Accountabilities
- Serve as the product owner for the wells alliance, coordinating cross‑company teams to establish and sustain a long-term alliancing model between bp, wells services suppliers and rig contractors.
- Support the alliance management team with the set‑up, daily management and continuous optimisation of the alliance, enabling innovation through shared risks, common goals, aligned incentives and a unified ways‑of‑working framework.
- Inspire change across bp and partner organisations through effective administration, communication and execution of the alliance operating model.
- Support the alliance management team to deliver core alliancing workstreams including culture, work processes, co‑location activities, aligned important metrics, change management, onboarding, commercial models and simplification efforts.
- Build positive relationships with wells, subsurface and production leadership teams to ensure alignment of strategic projects and contracting approaches that support lower-cost, faster-paced well construction.
- Track and measure alliance performance against defined objectives, reporting progress and recommending interventions as required.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
Experience
- Strong background in well engineering and operations, with exposure to offshore well planning, project delivery or well site supervision.
- Strong familiarity with the international oil and gas environment and a proven track record of delivering operational and project outcomes.
- Experience engaging and managing relationships with partners, service providers and third‑party contractors.
- Understanding of budget management, commercial models, contracting frameworks and financial decision-making.
- Knowledge of wells performance management and collaborative operating models.
