GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Eastern Hemisphere Licensee Auditor is responsible for conducting licensee audits and addressing technical matters across the Eastern Hemisphere, including Southeast Asia and the Pacific Rim (SEAP), China, Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa (ESSA), and CIS countries.
This role also supports the Licensee Manager - Eastern Hemisphere by managing transactions related to gauge and tooling rentals and purchases, as well as following up on invoicing and royalty-related activities.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Eastern Hemisphere Licensee Auditor is responsible for conducting licensee audits and addressing technical matters across the Eastern Hemisphere, including Southeast Asia and the Pacific Rim (SEAP), China, Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa (ESSA), and CIS countries.
This role also supports the Licensee Manager - Eastern Hemisphere by managing transactions related to gauge and tooling rentals and purchases, as well as following up on invoicing and royalty-related activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct audits of licensees within the assigned region, including tracking audit findings and driving audit reports to closure under the guidance of the Licensee Manager - Eastern Hemisphere.
- Ensure Eastern Hemisphere licensee audits are kept up to date and schedule on-site audits as required.
- Coordinate travel arrangements to perform licensee audits across the Eastern Hemisphere.
- Communicate directly with licensees to ensure compliance with Grant Prideco requirements and procedures.
- Liaise with Gauge Labs to resolve licensee gauge-related issues or concerns.
- Manage procurement-related transactions within the licensee management system, including:
- Job Authorizations (monthly royalty close-out and invoicing)
- Uncompleted Jobs (verification and transaction closure)
- Procurement of Rentals (coordination with regional gauge labs, order processing, and invoicing)
- Procurement of Tooling (coordination with regional gauge labs, order processing, and invoicing)
- Recalibration services (coordination with gauge labs, order processing, and invoicing)
- Qualification Requests (coordination with gauge labs, order processing, and invoicing)
- QCS submissions (coordination with gauge labs, order processing, and invoicing)
- Ring and Plug Gauge Verification (coordination with gauge labs, order processing, and invoicing)
- Final Return of Gauges (coordination with gauge labs, order processing, and invoicing)
- TDSS blank order processing
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date licensee accounts within the system, verifying and updating all relevant information.
- Communicate with the licensee network on all matters related to Grant Prideco procedures, billing and invoicing, royalty charges, rental and sales charges, and support licensees through the procurement process in coordination with the Logistics department.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanics, Oil & Gas Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in auditing, quality assurance, licensing, manufacturing, or technical compliance roles, preferably within the oil & gas or industrial sector is an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience conducting licensee, supplier, or internal audits, including report writing and closure of audit findings.
- Strong working knowledge of NOV Grant Prideco standards, procedures, and licensing requirements, or the ability to acquire this knowledge quickly.
- Experience working with gauge systems, tooling, or dimensional inspection processes is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with royalty tracking, invoicing, and licensing-related commercial processes is an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across different regions and cultures within the Eastern Hemisphere.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required to support audit activities.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to present audit findings clearly and confidently to diverse audiences.
- Proven presentation and speaking skills, including conducting meetings, briefings, and discussions.
- Proficient in ERP / licensee management systems and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power point etc).
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform licensee audits across the Eastern Hemisphere in accordance with Grant Prideco standards and requirements.
- Administer and manage all transactions within the licensee management application, as well as other activities assigned by the reporting manager.
- Act as a key liaison between the licensee network and internal stakeholders, including Licensee Management, Gauge Labs, Logistics, and Finance.
- Prepare audit reports, track findings, and drive corrective actions to closure.
- Communicate regularly with the Licensee Management Team on licensee status, audit outcomes, and compliance matters.
- Participate actively in department meetings, licensee meetings, and assigned events.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date licensee records and system data.
- Conduct all interactions with licensees and customers in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
- Ensure all activities comply with NOV Grant Prideco policies, confidentiality, and ethical standards
- Identify and escalate compliance risks or recurring issues as appropriate.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the reporting manager.
