This Position reports to:
Production Supervisor
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the unit in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes. Each day, you will use machinery and equipment on the shop floor. You will also showcase your expertise by reading and interpreting the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels.
The work model for the role is: onsite
This role is contributing to the emergency lighting production in Dorval.

This role is contributing to the emergency lighting production in Dorval.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Conducting all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including the packing where integrated with production lines.
- Performing work manually or by using light hand tools.
- Carrying out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
- Operating within standard operating procedures and maintaining a clean work area.
Qualifications for the role:
- Ability to read and follow work instructions
- Ability to interpret a work order and parts lists
- Ability to read assembly drawings
- General knowledge of components
- Ability to use hand tools, power or compressed air tools
- Knowledge of Health and Safety at Work rules, and respect them
- Good dexterity
- Meticulousness
- Ability to maintain the workflow according to the established objectives
- Good general physical shape and capacity to work standing up all day
- Autonomy and versatility
- Team spirit
- French or English, spoken, written and read
