In which organization will you work as Lead Expeditor?

We are recruiting for one of our clients in the nuclear industry, an Expediting Platform Manager, based in Jeumont (France), within a strategic industrial site specialized in the manufacturing of high value-added and safety-critical equipment.

Lead Expeditor - What will be your missions and responsibilities?

Reporting to the site Supply Chain Management, you will support the Expediting Manager and Project Procurement Managers in the operational management of the expediting platform.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Supervising and leading the team of expeditors.
• Ensuring operational efficiency of the platform according toSafety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC) criteria.
• Managing the relationship with the site representative and ensuring proper communication with internal stakeholders.
• Consolidating team alerts and escalating them at the appropriate decision-making level.
• Summarizing deliverables and performance indicators per project and supplier.
• Establishing workload planning and allocating supplier follow-up activities among expeditors (validated by the Supply Chain Management).
• Coordinating and standardizing reporting processes toward internal interfaces.
• Developing and promoting expediting expertise within the platform.
• Ensuring proper execution of the service through:
  
  • Onboarding and training of expeditors
  • Progress meetings
  • Steering meetings
  • Action plan follow-up
• Presenting applicable documentation to the team and ensuring traceability of document acknowledgment for each team member, including updates for steering committees.
• Guaranteeing the quality of platform deliverables.
• Ensuring internal tools (Platform, EDGE) are properly maintained and updated.
• Organizing and leading a monthly Steering Committee (COPIL) with presentation to the site Supply Chain Management.

What profile and skills are required for this Lead Expeditor position?

Education

• Master's degree (Engineering / Supply Chain / Industrial Management or equivalent).

Experience

• Strong experience in expediting / supplier follow-up within a demanding industrial environment.
• Proven experience in operational team management.
• Experience in nuclear or regulated industries is highly valued.

Skills

• Strong operational coordination and multi-interface management skills.
• Solid knowledge of Supply Chain KPIs and performance tracking tools.
• Analytical and risk anticipation capabilities.
• Leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• High level of rigor regarding documentation and quality requirements.
