In which organization will you work as an Expeditor?

We are recruiting for one of our clients, a major player in the nuclear industry, an Expeditor (PSM) based in Jeumont (France) with extensive presence at suppliers' premises in France and internationally.

Expeditor - What will be your missions and responsibilities?

As an Expeditor (Project Supply Management), you will operate in a demanding industrial environment, ensuring the successful execution of strategic and critical purchase orders.

Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Organizing and leading regular progress meetings with suppliers.
  • Securing contractual deliverables (safety, quality, schedule, cost).
  • Managing contract amendments when required, in coordination with buyers.
  • Monitoring manufacturing activities from documentation issuance to compliant delivery on site.
  • Ensuring strong on-site presence at suppliers' facilities (frequent travel in France and abroad - up to 100% presence at a critical supplier if required).
  • Understanding suppliers' manufacturing processes and document management systems.
  • Participating in kick-off meetings with all stakeholders.
  • Managing change requests and additional procurement needs.
  • Overseeing documentation flow to ensure:
    • suppliers have all required inputs to start and perform manufacturing,
    • internal entities validate documentation within contractual deadlines.
  • Identifying deviations and risks and implementing mitigation and recovery plans.
  • Acting as interface between project management, planning, quality and inspection teams.
  • Leading risk mitigation plans related to supplier processes and bottlenecks.
  • Driving corrective action plans in supplier recovery contexts.

This is a field-oriented position focused on performance recovery, contractual compliance and industrial risk mitigation.

What profile and skills are required for this Expeditor position?

Education

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management or Supply Chain.

Experience

  • Significant experience in expediting and monitoring critical industrial suppliers.
  • Experience in nuclear, oil & gas or heavy industry environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong background in contract execution follow-up.
  • Experience in highly regulated quality and safety environments.

Skills

  • Strong industrial and manufacturing knowledge.
  • Planning and cost control capabilities.
  • Contractual awareness.
  • Strong field leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • High mobility (France and international).
  • Professional English required.
