We are currently looking for Customer & Channel Marketing Lead: Cars IWS where base location is Mumbai and details mentioned below:

Let me tell you about the role !

Cars lubricants is a critical area of growth for the organization. With evolving market structure, consumers increasingly choose workshops and service experiences-not just products. Winning in independent aftermarket cars workshop channel becomes imperative to our success and balanced business.

The purpose of the role is to establish a differentiated channel offer for Castrol in the workshop space, Service & Maintenance set up, demonstrating knowledge about customers, competitors, and trends & car service market as well as adjacent categories, to drive brand delivery in line with our ambition.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Market & Business Delivery
• Support delivery of volume, gross margin, and market share targets for the Independent Workshop (IWS) channel through effective execution of marketing programs.

2. D2C-Led Demand Generation & Consumer Funnel Execution
• Implement consumer acquisition and retention journeys from awareness → booking → service → repeat usage.
• Drive D2C leads and bookings into partner workshops through performance marketing, affiliates, and auto platforms.
• Implement and optimize consumer communications across digital and CRM-led touch-points.

3. Channel Marketing plans
• Develop and execute marketing plans brand and business strategy
• Lead rollout of channel offers & programs and supervise performance against defined KPIs.

Experience & Qualification:

Education
• University degree in Sales and Marketing

Experience
• 10 +years of experience in sales, marketing, or growth roles within consumer-facing or service-led businesses.
• Experience working in services, retail, platforms, mobility, automotive, or allied sectors is preferred.
• Hands-on experience working with digital, creative, or performance marketing partners.

Skills & Proficiencies
• Ability to translate consumer insights into clear, executable actions
• Experienced in executing digital and channel marketing programs end-to-end
• Experienced in performance marketing and conversion funnels
• Experienced in agency management and working with external partners
• Ability to deliver with strong execution discipline and multi-tasking

You will work with:

The role holder is encouraged to work closely with sales team to deliver offers and programs to customers to drive volume, turnover, in the channel.

The role also involves interface with legal, tax and controls team to ensure offer compose and programs are within the policy framework of the organization.
