SLB is seeking a motivated, curious, and fast-learning undergraduate or master's student to join our Calgary team as a Manufacturing Operations Intern. This office-based role offers a unique early-career opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to real manufacturing operations, process-improvement initiatives, and cross-functional engineering activities. Roles and Responsibilities
  • Support the Manufacturing Engineering team in planning, designing, and executing process-improvement and distribution-related projects.
  • Contribute to a defined internship project by performing analyses, preparing results, and presenting recommendations.
  • Assist with data preparation, quality checks, documentation, and other technical support activities.
  • Work closely with local and global stakeholders, including international engineering groups and external vendors.
  • Participate in coordination and project-management activities to help drive project milestones.


Qualifications and Experience
  • Second-year or higher BSc or master's student in Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 1 year of manufacturing experience is considered an asset.
  • Strong digital skills in basic programming, Power Apps logic, Power BI, and design software, considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
  • Fast learner with strong adaptability and a proactive mindset.
  • Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada without company sponsorship.
