Overview
The Senior Analyst, HR Mergers & Acquisitions will provide structured analytical support, coordination and insight across people-related workstreams during transactions. The role strengthens the quality, pace and governance of diligence and integration activities, ensuring people risks, workforce considerations and organisational impacts are surfaced early, assessed clearly and translated into decisive actions.
The role reports to the Senior Director, Total Reward, partnering closely with HR, M&A, Finance, Legal and business leaders, supporting deal execution with high-quality analysis, tracking and communication.

Overview
The Senior Analyst, HR Mergers & Acquisitions will provide structured analytical support, coordination and insight across people-related workstreams during transactions. The role strengthens the quality, pace and governance of diligence and integration activities, ensuring people risks, workforce considerations and organisational impacts are surfaced early, assessed clearly and translated into decisive actions.
The role reports to the Senior Director, Total Reward, partnering closely with HR, M&A, Finance, Legal and business leaders, supporting deal execution with high-quality analysis, tracking and communication.
Your role
People Due Diligence and Analysis:
- Lead the coordination of HR due-diligence inputs, managing information requests, reviewing and synthesising data across HR, business and functional experts.
- Support with the analysis of workforce, organisational structure, compensation and benefits data to identify people-related risks, integration implications and operational considerations.
- Produce clear, succinct diligence summaries and contribute inputs to deal materials prepared for senior stakeholders.
- Assess organisational impacts, workforce alignment, cultural considerations and potential integration barriers.
Cross-Functional Coordination and Governance:
- Operate as a structured, reliable point of coordination across HR, M&A and functional teams during diligence and integration.
- Maintain accurate trackers, project documentation and executive-ready updates that support confident decision-making.
- Uphold confidentiality and compliance requirements for all sensitive HR and transaction data.
Integration Planning and Delivery:
- Support the design and tracking of post-close HR integration plans, ensuring milestones, decisions and dependencies across HR, Finance, IT and business teams are captured and delivered on time.
- Monitor issues, risks and actions, ensuring early escalation and consistent governance.
- Enable smooth information flow across internal teams and external advisors by maintaining disciplined processes, documentation and status reporting.
Insight, Positioning and Communication:
- Translate complex people-related data and qualitative inputs into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
- Prepare well-structured materials, including briefing notes, summaries, dashboards and talking points for HR and deal leadership.
- Contribute to working sessions by bringing analytical rigour, clarity and strong framing of key questions and implications.
About you
Essential:
- Strong analytical capability with experience working with HR, workforce or operational data.
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams with discipline, accuracy and pace.
Clear, concise written communication and the ability to synthesise information for senior audiences. - Experience supporting cross-functional projects in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- High attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.
Desirable:
- Exposure to M&A, due diligence, integration, organisational design, Total Reward or HR Systems and/or Operations.
- Experience operating within project governance frameworks.
- Comfort working with stakeholders across HR, Finance, Legal, IT and business leadership.
