We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team here in Scotland, someone who takes pride in delivering work to the highest standard and doing the right thing for our clients, our communities, and our people. You'll have the chance to shape a wide variety of major projects across the complex infrastructure sector, from rail and highways to utilities, defence, energy and aviation. This is a role where you can truly make your mark: building long-term relationships with key Scottish clients while supporting and helping colleagues as they grow their own careers.

Your

  • Lead the preparation and management of cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor, forecast and report on project costs and programme performance, ensuring value for money for our clients.
  • Work closely with clients, contractors, and project partners to keep delivery smooth, collaborative and efficient.
  • Guide and develop client-focused teams, supporting the growth of emerging talent within the business.
  • Administer and manage a range of contracts to maintain commercial control and governance.
  • Manage contract changes in a constructive and timely manner, adapting to the needs of each project.
  • Provide trusted commercial expertise to all stakeholders.


About you

  • A strong background in quantity surveying and commercial management on major infrastructure projects in the UK.
  • Professional accreditation (RICS, CICES).
  • Solid experience working with NEC and similar contract forms. This is preferred and should you not have NEC experience we will provide full training post probationary period.
  • Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related disciplines.
