Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you look after Financial Analyst role and provide financial expertise to their assigned organization by compiling and analyzing various relevant metrics, identifying trends and problems, communicating information to relevant groups, and recommending actions to improve financial performance of a specific business.
The work model for the role is: #Li-Onsite.
This role is contributing to the ABB India, Smart Buildings & Smart Power, Electrification Business in for Finance Analyst Function in Peenya, Bangalore Region, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Manage customer credit limits, conduct credit assessments during customer onboarding, and handle DCD (Dispute Credit Decision) cases. Monitor customer-level DSO and recommend corrective actions, including revising payment terms where necessary.
Analyze receivables and overdue reports, ensure timely collections (including export markets such as East/West Africa, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal, etc.), and coordinate with stakeholders to reduce aged receivables. Visit key customers when required to ensure payment follow-ups and reconciliation of BGs and commercial matters.
Manage customer-related LC/BG processes and oversee export collections. Coordinate with GBS and Commercial Operations to obtain FEMA and other regulatory clearances, particularly for export transactions.
Monitor payables and aging analysis, collaborate with internal stakeholders to reduce aged balances, reconcile customer duty-related GL accounts, and oversee GR-IR accounts related to trading items.
Handle write-offs where required, manage export incentives including proper accounting, and ensure compliance with internal policies and financial governance standards.
Qualifications for the role:
MBA, M.Com, B.Com, or Semi-qualified CA/CMA with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience; OR qualified CA/CMA with 3+ years of experience.
Demonstrated ability in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Financial Analytics with exposure to P&L and Balance Sheet analysis.
Solid understanding of accounting principles, GST regulations, and other applicable tax laws.
Working knowledge of commercial transactions including LC, BG, and Treasury operations.
Practical experience in SAP or other ERP systems.
Demonstrated analytical abilities with effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Exposure to Power BI or dashboarding tools.

- Financial Controls & Incentive Management
Handle write-offs where required, manage export incentives including proper accounting, and ensure compliance with internal policies and financial governance standards.
Qualifications for the role:
- Educational Qualification
MBA, M.Com, B.Com, or Semi-qualified CA/CMA with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience; OR qualified CA/CMA with 3+ years of experience.
