The Role

We are seeking Wireline Field Operators & Specialists I-IV to support wireline operations in Roma, Queensland. This is a hands-on role responsible for operating, maintaining and servicing Weatherford equipment while ensuring the highest standards of safety, service quality and operational excellence. Senior level Operators will also provide on-site leadership and mentoring to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute safe and efficient wireline field operations
• Rig up / rig down and operate company equipment as per work instructions
• Perform functional testing, servicing and maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic and electronic components
• Participate in toolbox talks, JHAs and safety reporting processes
• Maintain compliance with Weatherford HSE, Quality and Management Systems
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members and customers
• Demonstrate financial responsibility and adherence to company procedures
• For senior roles: provide coaching and leadership at the rig site

Experience & Qualifications

Required Experience (by level):

• Field Operator I: 0-1 years Oil & Gas experience (Heavy Rigid Licence required)
• Field Operator II: 1-2.5 years Oil & Gas - Wireline
• Field Operator III: 2.5-4 years Oil & Gas - Wireline
• Field Operator IV: 4+ years Oil & Gas - Wireline
• Leadership and mentoring capability (senior levels)

Work Environment

• 3 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster (operationally dependent)
• Rotational and/or shift work
• Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Roma, QLD base (staff house provided)
• Must be willing to travel to Roma during swing if residing outside area
