Job Vacancy: Inspector (I&C)

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Inspector (I&C) to join our team for utility and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge of Abu Dhabi HSE legislation, codes of practice, and industry best practices.

Job Purpose

To supervise and inspect the electrical/instrumentation works mainly on the pumping stations currently operated by TAQA-WS, ensuring Contractor compliance with approved drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and Abu Dhabi authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and supervise the installation of electrical / instrumentation equipment.
• Ensure compliance with TAQA standards, project specifications, and approved method statements.
• Issue NCRs for non-conforming works and follow up on corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Contractor, QA/QC teams, and Resident Engineer.
• Prepare daily inspection reports and site documentation.
• Minimum Qualifications
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• 7-10 years inspection experience in similar nature of projects.
• Prior experience and approval on TAQA project is preferable.
• Experience working for an Engineering Consultant is mandatory.

Additional Requirements

• Strong knowledge of QA/QC inspection procedures and authority approvals.
• Familiar with Abu Dhabi DMT and TAQA requirements.
• Good communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
• Able to independently supervise and enforce compliance on site.
