- Provide engineering drawings, presentations, and documentation related to technical
- Engineering to make business and operation decisions on a technically informed basis
Job Responsibilities
- Produce as-built engineering drawings to be used as a reference for the upgrade of future facilities.
- Produce engineering drawings for construction or fabrication.
- Produce and maintain photographic, scanned, survey data to contribute to the day-to-day efficient operation of the management and engineering team, as well as electronic/printed material related to construction and technical engineering to be used for presentation purposes.
- Provide English/Russian, Russian/English written or verbal interpretation of Russian/British/American construction and engineering plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure professional liaison between the management team and contractors/local engineering staff.
- Inspect sites and facilities, undertake or assist in construction survey prior to construction, in order to produce accurate technical data and drawings.
- Assist in co-ordination contracts and agreements associated with construction plans and specifications to ensure the parties' understanding of Company requirements, Turkmenistan/Russian/British/American engineering principles, legal requirements, practices, and the materials and equipment involved in construction practices.
- Serve as project inspector on local contractor construction and maintenance projects to ensure the effective development of the construction/maintenance program.
- Any other written or verbal duties assigned as by Line Manager, which do not contradict with Turkmen Legislation
Education
Qualification Requirements
- Higher Professional education.
- 4+ years of post-qualification experience in computer aided engineering, surveying, drafting, 2D-3D modelling, cartography, using applications including AutoCAD, Photoshop, image processing and OCR (optical character recognition) software, raster-vector conversion software, GPS and survey equipment. Basic understanding of PDMS modelling is advantage
- Knowledge of English and Russian spoken languages and construction terminology.
- Knowledge of engineering principles, legal requirements, practices, and the materials and equipment involved in construction practices.
- Teamwork skills.
- Ability to complete assignments that involve varying amounts of physical labour in their accomplishment, sometimes for extended periods and under unfavourable weather conditions.
- Ability to use independent judgement in completing assignments.
