This Position reports to:
Marketing Manager

We are looking for a Product Market i ng Manager to play a key strategic ro l e i n our organization, focused on new product introductio n s and market penetratio n . This role i s responsible for developing and exe c uting marketing strategies is product portfolio , ensuring they align with the ELIP product managers, portfolio strategies and business targets. This role demands a proactive, strategic thinker who can bring creative energy to customer-facing and d i gital initiatives .

This position reports directly to the Commercial Portfolio Manager, (Marketing Director by interim), and requires a minimum of 2 days presence at the ABB Iberville office.

Responsibilities:
  • Product M arket i ng Strateg y : Define and drive the an n ual product market i ng strategy for new and exist i ng products, includ i ng market pos i tioning, value propositio n development and messaging ensuring alignment with the d i vis i on's strategic pillars and b usiness targets. This i ncludes value propos i tion (with VOC) and product pos i tioning.
  • Product L aunch & Promot i o n Exe c utio n : Translate strategy i nto action by developing and managing the detailed roadmap for product launches and promot i o n al campaigns, includ i ng objectives, timelines, budgets, creative d i rection, stakeholder coordinatio n , and deployment.
  • Digital Campaign Ownership of Product L aunch and Promo : Develop and execute creative, i ntegrated product digital campaign s in co l laboratio n with d i gital Market i ng.
  • Co n tent creatio n : Util i ze existing co n tent and develop new materials that co n vey c lear and engaging messages, incorporate compelling v i suals, and highlight strong value propositions. This includes c o n tent creation for sales tools such as brochures, se l l sheets, catalo g s, and other d i gital tools.
  • Perfor m ance Monitorin g : Define and track KPIs for product market i ng
    initiatives. Prov i de regular performance dashboards and recommendatio n s for improveme n t, ensuring all initiatives co n tribute to sales and market share growth.
  • Cross-Functio n al Alignment : Act as the key liaison between Product Management, Sales, and Market i ng, ensuring full alignment and effective on market priorities, l aunch timelines, and sales enablement initiatives.
  • Accountability and Ownership: Oversee all market i ng activities, promotio n , and support the Fron t -End Sales (FES) organ i zatio n in driv i ng revenue of respective products. Cand i dates must be experienced in the creatio n and management of relationships with key c ustomers and external influe n cers. Ind i rect l eadership of a cros s -functional executio n team will be a key component to achieving o b jectives in this role .
  • M arket Analysis : Coordinates w i th cros s -functional and c ros s -d i visio n product marketing and sales team members to define appropriate forecasts and plans. Collects, evaluates, and shares customer research, market conditions, and competitive data, with a focus on lead times, specification acceptance, and pricing.


Qualifications for the role:

  • Mi n imum 8-10 years of experience in market i ng, project management, and product management functio n in B2B industries (all three areas are esse n tial to succeed in this role) including 5 years in a strategic ro l e .
  • Bachelor's degree in market i ng, communications or related field .
  • Ex c eptio n al organizational sk i lls and ability to manage mult i ple projects autonomous l y and set priorities.
  • Stro n g inf l uence and collaboratio n skills; you can align with internal and external stakeho l ders without formal authority .
  • Ex c ellent communication sk i lls in English and Fren c h ; with a track record of engaging both internal and external stakeholders . English is necessary to communicate with clients outside of Quebec.
  • Familiarity w i th digital market i ng tools and platforms .
  • Creative and positive spirit w i th the ability to innovate and thrive in a dynamic; changing; often pressur e -packed env i ro n ment.
  • Analytical thinker with ability to co n vert insights and KPIs into actionable plans.
  • Comfortable working in a m atrixed; fas t -paced env i ronmen t with multiple priorities.
  • Prof i ciency in market research and analysis tools .
  • Experience in creating; managing marketing content .
  • Prove n ability to translate features t o benefi t .
  • Stro n g project management; organizatio n al skills with attention to detail .
  • Knowled g e of Salesforce; Smartsheet; Power B I; other data/system tools.
