JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary

The Yard Operations Supervisor is responsible for the overall operation of the assigned facility. The Yard Operations Supervisor reports directly to the Area Division Manager.

Responsibilities

• Directs the yard facility operations to ensure maximum quality production.

• Works directly with customers to ensure open and clear communication regarding the delivery of completed pipe, as well as resolving any customer complaints.

• Approves and directs all expenditures, including invoices and timesheets, to ensure expenses are within limits set for the facility and that labor costs fall within expected levels.

• Assists with budget development, cost analysis, and monthly revenue forecasting.

• Directs all personnel matters, including disciplinary actions, performance reviews, and onboarding of new employees.

• Identifies, trains, motivates, and supervises all facility personnel.

• Maintains a high level of quality and safety awareness.

• Performs any other duties as assigned by the Area Division Manager.

Qualifications/Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Four-year college degree preferred.

• Knowledge of NDT processes preferred.

• Excellent communication skills required.

• Knowledge of employee safety requirements required.

• DuPont STOP Safety Program experience preferred.

• Hazardous waste storage experience preferred.

• Previous supervisory experience required.
