PROJECT MANAGER / E&I PACKAGE MANAGER - CONTRACT – SURREY
Our Client is seeking a Project Manager / E&I Package Manager for an ongoing contract role that has an immediate start.
EXPERIENCE:
- Must possess significant experience in electrical engineering.
- Shall have solid engineering background to facilitate technical issues resolution.
- Shall have prior experience of working with major equipment suppliers, in roles of package engineer or package manager.
- Experience of ICSS design will also be an advantage.
JOB SCOPE:
- Will be responsible for the delivery of the major electrical packages for a significant 'normally unattended' Greenfield facility.
- The project comprises brownfield aspects requiring interface engagement.
- The successful candidate will be the focal point between the end Client's PMT and our Client’s PMT, procurement and engineering teams.
- The main packages include VFD driven Compressors and main Electrical equipment such as 110kV switchgear, transformers, switchgear, VSD etc.
- The successful candidate will be looking across those major packages to drive the multi-functional delivery of the RFQ process, including integrating with the construction team on ROS dates, build sequence etc and facilitating stakeholder buy-in.
- They will be supporting the engineering disciplines with a broad understanding of the scope.
- Building strong working relationships with the client and prospective suppliers will be critical.
DURATION: Start asap – duration to be confirmed
LOCATION: The role will be based on 3 days a week in our Client’s Offices in Surrey and Hybrid working with two days remote.
RATE: £65.00 per hourLtd co rate
If the role is Likely to be outside of IR35 the final decision will only be made after a QDOS assessment.
